We had a birthday reunion today.
Miss E is celebrating her number ONE today, and what a blessing to celebrate both her birth-day and her birthday with her mom and dad. Last year at this time, we were anxiously awaiting her arrival in the hospital. I got a rather surprised and inquisitive email from mom several weeks ago after she stumbled across my photography website . . . , “Dr. P! You take pictures?!?”. Yep. And so we meet again, with a different hat on. And no shots today!
E, you are so loved! Such a pleasure to see you in your element out and about and at grandma and grandpa’s house. And what a trooper. It’s April in WI, and instead of flowers, trees budding and green grass, we’ve recently had back to back snow storms atypical for this time of year. Things are starting to look up, but this morning it was drizzly, breezy and about 35 degrees during our time together. You hung in there like champ. Until you weren’t allowed to eat the tulips. Fair enough, we’re all a little frustrated with spring this year. 🙂
