The weather was a bit chillier and quite a bit breezier than we had anticipated . . . and about 15min into our time together one little boy with a mischievous twinkle in his eye ended up with a wet bottom in Lake Mendota after his curiosity got the best of him! Through a few shivers and some squishy shoes at Picnic Point we still managed to have an adventure and lots of fun. 🙂 So glad to have been able to reconnect with this college friend now that she’s back settled in Madtown after returning from Australia for the last few years. Looking forward to meeting up again . . . hopefully a bit toastier and with a good drink in hand!
